Fitting steps

  1. Prepare the fitting

    Disconnect the battery of your Ford Edge (2015-2018) and remove the trunk trim. Identify the side (left or right) before you start.

  2. Fit the power tailgate kit

    Fit the power tailgate kit in place of the original part, on the same mounts.

  3. Connect the power

    Connect the positive wire to a fused 12 V supply and the ground wire to a metal point. Insulate every connection.

  4. Adjust and test

    Set the opening height and test the obstacle detection.
