Audi taillights: inner and outer LED units
A cracked, fogged-up taillight or one with a failed LED segment is immediately noticeable on an Audi. This collection brings together replacement LED taillights: outer wing units, inner boot units, lower bumper lights and bulb holders.
The A6 C7 and A6 C6 have the most references: on these sedans, the inner boot unit is the one that fails first, with LED segments going out in bands. We offer the left and right sides separately, or as a complete kit to replace all four lights at once.
On the Q5 MK2, the lights are distinguished by their connectors: 5-pin versions, 2021-2024 facelift versions, US versions. Each sheet indicates the number of pins and the manufacturer reference (80A945093B, 4GD945095, 8K5945093K…) to avoid any ordering error.
We also have the lower bumper lights for the Q5 and Q7, often broken during parallel parking, as well as bulb holders and lamp holders for generations with classic bulbs, whose copper tracks eventually oxidize.
Installation remains accessible: the boot unit clips out from inside the tailgate, the wing unit requires removing a trim panel and two nuts. The connectors are original, without a wiring harness to modify or a decoder to add.

Taillights are specific to each generation and each facelift: a Q5 MK2 2017-2020 light does not fit the 2021-2024 facelift version, and the A6 C7 sedan and Avant do not have the same units. Check the reference engraved on the back of your original light, it is the most reliable guide.

How to identify the right taillight for my Audi? Check the 10-character reference engraved on the back of the original light (type 4GD945095) and compare it to the one on the product sheet. It is safer than the year alone.
Can an original LED unit be repaired? Rarely: Audi units are ultrasonically sealed and the LEDs are soldered to a single board. When a segment fails, complete replacement of the unit remains the only lasting solution.
Why does my taillight fog up? A slight haze that disappears while driving is normal. Persistent condensation indicates a hardened gasket or a clogged vent: in this case, the unit must be replaced to avoid oxidation of the contacts.
