At Porsche, the rear signature evolves with each facelift, and it is what betrays the generation of a vehicle at first glance. Switching from a bulb unit to a latest-generation LED taillight is the most direct way to rejuvenate a Cayenne, Macan or Panamera.
The Panamera 970 is the most represented: lights for 970.1 2010-2013, 970.2 2014-2016, S and GTS versions 2010-2016 with sequential turn signals, and units for Panamera 971 2017-2022 with the continuous light strip connecting the two lights.
The Cayenne follows with lights for 2003-2005, 2007-2010, 958 2011-2014 (including 92A version) and 958 2015-2017. The Macan covers the 2014-2017, 2014-2020, 2015-2019 and 2018-2024 model years, with the switch to the full-width light bar on recent versions.

How to remove a taillight on a Cayenne 958? Open the tailgate, remove the access hatch in the side trim, unscrew the two nuts, then pull the light unit backwards before disconnecting the connector. Twenty minutes per side.
