BMW LED Taillights: the LCI look for your chassis
Nothing dates a BMW like pre-facelift taillights. This collection brings together complete light units that give a 3 Series F30, a 5 Series F10 or an X5 the lighting signature of the restyled versions, with the Full LED or OLED LCI look lighting that distinguishes modern models.
Three families make up the catalog. Sequential taillights sweep the turn signal from the inside out, like on the latest generation 3 Series G20 G21. The G30 LCI look OLED units transform a 2010-2017 5 Series F10 into a G30. The smoked or red versions play on contrast on light or dark bodywork.
The chassis coverage is wide: 1 Series F20, 2 Series F22 F23 F87, 3 Series E90 F30 F80 G20 G28, 4 Series F32 F33 F36 F82 F83, 5 Series F10 F18 G30 G38, M3, M4, M5 F90, as well as the X3, X5 E70 F15 SUVs and the group's Mini R56 R57 and Countryman R60.
Beyond complete units, the collection also includes pieces that dress the rear: carbon taillight eyebrows for the M2 G87, covers and trims that extend the work on the tailgate. Enough to finish the rear end without touching the bodywork.
Installation is done on the original mountings and on the factory connector for the majority of references; some LED units require a CAN bus error-free module, indicated on the product sheet. Always check your chassis code and your exact years: a 2012 F30 and a 2016 F30 LCI do not have the same optics.
Compatible with the entire BMW range
BMW LED taillights are developed chassis by chassis. The commercial name is not enough: two 3 Series from the same decade can be E90, F30 or G20 and therefore do not accept the same units. The product sheet specifies the code and the range of years each time.

Frequently asked questions
Do LED taillights pass the technical inspection? Yes if the unit complies with the regulatory colors (red at the rear, orange for the turn signal, white for the reverse light), if it is correctly fixed and if all functions light up. A smoked light remains accepted as long as the light intensity remains sufficient.
Is a CAN bus decoder needed on a BMW? On several F and G chassis, the computer monitors the light consumption and can report a burnt-out bulb. The affected references include a resistor or are delivered with an error-free module: this is specified on the sheet.
Can LCI look lights be fitted on a pre-facelift? That is precisely the goal of the G30 LCI look OLED units for the 5 Series F10 or the sequential lights for the 3 Series F30: they use the phase 1 mountings and deliver the phase 2 design. Just check the indicated years.
