Allow one hour for two people to install the pair: the bars are long and each plate must be positioned before tightening to the correct torque. Use a jack or jack stands to work comfortably under the vehicle.

Side steps are designed for a precise wheelbase: a bar for a 2009-2017 Q5 will not match the mounting points or length of a 2018-2024 Q5, and the Q7 4L differs from the 4M. Check the year of first registration before ordering.
